OCC Weavers is pleased to announce the successful completion and official handover of the Novotel Al Madinah hotel project.
The ceremony was held under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency Princess Haifa bint Mohammed bin Saud Al Saud, Deputy Minister of Tourism, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of the Holy City’s premium hospitality infrastructure.
Technical Excellence in the Heart of Madinah
The Novotel Al Madinah is a state-of-the-art 4-star development located in a prime setting west of the Prophet’s Mosque. Occupying a total area of 1,822 square meters, the project involved the turnkey construction and project management of a sophisticated 18-story structure designed to accommodate the growing volume of international and domestic visitors.
Key Technical Specifications:
- Capacity and Accommodation: The hotel features 394 guest rooms, including expansive royal suites, engineered with high-end finishes and modern climate-control systems.
- Structural Scale: The 18-story building comprises a ground floor, a mezzanine, and 12 frequent floors, supported by four basement levels dedicated to parking and hotel services.
- Integrated Facilities: Construction of a central high-capacity restaurant, specialized retail exhibition spaces, and multiple flexible meeting rooms.
- Advanced Engineering: The project utilized Building Information Modeling (BIM) to ensure precise coordination of architectural shop drawings, vertical transportation systems, and intricate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) requirements.
