OCC Weavers is pleased to announce the successful completion and handover of the Aramex Warehouse Project, a specialized built-to-suit facility located within the LogiPoint Bonded and Re-export Zone at Jeddah Islamic Port.
This high-specification project represents a critical addition to the Kingdom’s logistics infrastructure and serves as a regional hub for Aramex's ground operations.
As a first-class ranked general contractor, OCC Weavers managed the turnkey construction of the facility, ensuring it met the rigorous architectural and technical requirements necessary for international logistics excellence.
Precision Engineering for Advanced Automation
The facility was engineered to support a high-volume sorting capacity of up to 96,000 shipments daily.
To accommodate these advanced operational requirements, OCC Weavers implemented specialized industrial solutions:
- Super-Flat Industrial Flooring: The warehouse features high-precision, epoxy-sealed flooring designed to the strict tolerances required for the seamless operation of AI-powered robotic sorting systems and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
- Specialized Electrical Infrastructure: A robust, high-capacity electrical grid was integrated to power advanced automated sorting technologies and comprehensive climate-control systems, maintaining temperatures between 15–25°C.
- Built-to-Suit Operational Scale: The facility covers a 20,000 m² footprint (part of a broader 32,000 m² plot) with a central height of up to 14.8 meters to maximize vertical storage and automated sorting efficiency.
- Administrative & Support Facilities: The build includes 2,500 m² of modern office space, as well as dedicated staff areas including a cafeteria and prayer rooms.
